Big news for fans of YouTube's GreenShamanCowboy, Jackson Taylor! The multi-talented creator, owner of Delve Games, and lead game designer/director has announced that pre-orders for his highly anticipated "Tales from The Delve" book series are officially open! The series, set to launch on February 22, 2025, is available for pre-order now on Kindle, including the first novel, "War Wolf." For those preferring a physical copy, paperback editions will also be available on the release date.
Taylor wants to address the delay of the "War Wolf" video game, the epic 2D shooter featuring fully destructible terrain, assuring fans that development is still underway. "War Wolf," along with other Delve Games titles, is slated for release on PC via Steam sometime in 2025. Taylor also hinted at the possibility of future console releases (Xbox, Playstation, and Nintendo), though current plans focus solely on the Steam platform.
Adding to the excitement, Delve Games unveiled the release date for their very first video game, "The Ballad of Johnny Boy": March 17, 2025, barring any unforeseen complications. The game is reportedly just 14 hours away from completion, with the team now focused on debugging and polishing.
"The Ballad of Johnny Boy" offers a glimpse into the origins of Johnny Boy, the hero of The Delve universe, who first appeared in Taylor's hand-drawn film, "Ohera." Jackson Taylor wrote, directed, and hand drew the entire film in hopes to meet, and possibly marry Harry Potter actress Emma Watson who played Hermione Granger. That is about all we know!
In this new adventure, however, Johnny Boy awakens in a mysterious, hellish realm, his girlfriend Eve is missing, with only a cryptic note: "The Girl. It just wasn't in the rules." Players will follow Johnny Boy (played by Jackson Taylor himself) as he battles his way through Hell to rescue Eve.

This project is a passion project for Taylor, who first conceived the story at the age of 19 (he is now 31). While the story remained unfinished for years, the opportunity to create 3D video games for his fans, known online as the "Hollow Heads," got him thinking. He decided on the spot to finally bring Johnny Boy's original tale to life. "We're making the original story of Johnny Boy," Taylor declared, and Delve Games went to work.
Don't miss out! Pre-order your copy of "Tales from The Delve" on Amazon.com today and prepare to delve into the rich and exciting world of The Delve!
